Darrin Murriner
Co-founder & CEO
Before founding Cloverleaf in 2016, Darrin spent 15 years managing operations, finance, and risk management teams, including roles as Senior Technology Risk Consultant at Arthur Andersen, Senior IT Auditor at Fifth Third Bank, and Assistant Vice President of Operations at American Modern Insurance Group. A graduate of the University of Kentucky, Murriner authored Corporate Bravery: Eliminate Fear-Based Decision Making. He holds a MBA in Finance from the University of Cincinnati and a BBA in Decision Science & Information Systems from the University of Kentucky.
Kirsten Moorefield
Co-Founder & Chief Strategy Officer
Kirsten Moorefield is the Co-Founder and Chief Strategy Officer of Cloverleaf, where she directs product strategy, workplace psychology research, and the development of the platform's core AI coaching architecture. For over a decade, her career has focused on intersecting software design, behavioral science, and team dynamics to foster healthier corporate cultures. A frequent keynote speaker on responsible AI and human-centric workplace design, from her TEDx talk to her podcast “People are Complicated,” she is also the author of the best-selling book Thrive: A Collaboration Manifesto. She holds a degree in Sociology and Economics from Miami University.
Dr. Scott Dust
Chief Research Officer
Scott oversees the psychological, behavioral science, and empirical frameworks that power the Cloverleaf platform’s automated coaching algorithms. Concurrently, he serves as an Associate Professor of Management and the Fealy Family Endowed Chair of the Center for Entrepreneurship at the University of Cincinnati’s Carl H. Lindner College of Business. An expert in organizational behavior, Dr. Dust has published over 30 peer-reviewed academic papers on leadership and team dynamics, and he is a regular contributor to Fast Company, Business Insider, and Psychology Today.
Matt Lievertz
Head of Engineering
Matt focuses on building reliable, enterprise-grade infrastructure capable of processing automated coaching insights across widespread communication ecosystems. Before joining Cloverleaf, he directed engineering teams and technical leadership strategies at the SaaS powerhouse Zylo. He previously spearheaded DevOps automation, developer tooling, and infrastructure scaling for over 20 million global users at Blackboard, and served as a technology Group Leader orchestrating highly secure, multi-terabyte data pipelines for major US Federal Agencies. He holds a MS in Information and Communication Sciences and a Bachelor's degree in Business Innovation from Ball State University.
Alex Wilson
Head of Product
Alex works at the intersection of UX design and HR technology. He translates behavioral science data frameworks into practical, frictionless workplace integrations. Prior to Cloverleaf, Alex spent several years at Amazon, where he focused on the core engineering and natural-language Q&A capabilities powering Alexa. He entered the tech product space through Graphiq, a pioneering data-visualization startup that was ultimately acquired by Amazon. He holds a BS in Communication from Northwestern University.
Grant Burrall
Head of Sales
With a deep background in strategic tech sales and business development, Grant specializes in building high-performing B2B sales teams and deploying talent management software to mid-market and global enterprise organizations. Before stepping into executive leadership at Cloverleaf, he spearheaded commercial operations as the Head of Revenue at WorkHound, an employee retention platform designed for frontline workers. He previously drove enterprise market expansion strategies at Apruve, an automated B2B credit networks and enterprise financial tech solution. He holds a BA in Economics from the University of Notre Dame.
Shelby Bolinger
Head of Marketing
Shelby Bolinger is Director of Marketing at Cloverleaf. She leads demand generation, content, SEO, paid media, product marketing and sales enablement, and her team owns pipeline generation for the revenue org. She has more than a decade of experience driving growth for HR technology companies and high-growth startups. She has led marketing teams across B2B SaaS and HR tech, building programs in media, talent and workforce technology. Shelby holds a B.A. in Communication Studies from Wright State University and is based in Cincinnati, OH.
Mindy Aufderheide
Head of Customer Success
Mindy Aufderheide is Head of Customer Success at Cloverleaf. For the past five years, she has guided organizations through implementations, change management and cultural transformation so that software adoption leads to real business impact. Before Cloverleaf, she spent more than a decade leading business development in software, building partnerships that deliver value for customers from day one. Today she focuses on how AI can improve the customer experience, from personalized coaching to proactive support.
Dan Chaney
Head of Operations
Dan Chaney is VP of Finance & Operations at Cloverleaf. He oversees financial planning, accounting, human resources, revenue operations, legal and contract management, and enterprise risk. Since joining as Finance Manager in 2021, he has built the company's financial infrastructure and led SOC 2 readiness, data privacy agreements, and benefits and compensation programs. Before Cloverleaf, Dan led implementation teams at Paycor and spent seven years leading Finance and HR at Epipheo. He began his career with more than eight years in banking at PNC Bank, National City Bank and Provident Bank.
