Duracell is the world's leading manufacturer of alkaline batteries, operating across 24 locations with a fully remote leadership workforce.

The problem with relationships at scale

Jenny Harris, now SVP, Global Business Services at Duracell, first encountered Cloverleaf at a different company while leading a younger team working across multiple global regions. She was looking for a way for them to learn more about themselves and about each other. The work required emotional acumen. Different cultures, different communication styles, different expectations.

As a business leader she'd seen firsthand what happens when self-awareness is missing: missteps in meetings, friction in relationships, real money left on the table. Her HR team told her about a pilot with a platform called Cloverleaf. The reviews were strong. She decided to try it.

What the team said at the end of the year

At the end of that first year, she did what she always does — asked her team what had worked. The answer was immediate. Cloverleaf.

They said the tool helped teach them and give them language to describe themselves, including their motivations, their behavior, and their work styles. And that self-awareness made them more effective."

A new role. A fully remote team. The same question.

When Jenny joined Duracell, the challenge was different. A 100% remote workforce. No chance encounters in a hallway. No reading a room. The question wasn't whether to use Cloverleaf, but how quickly she could get it in front of the team.

A decade of working together. Still learning.

Team members who had worked side by side for years were still discovering things about each other they couldn't quite put their finger on. Comparing profiles. Finding language for dynamics they'd felt but never named.

These are people that have worked together in some cases for almost a decade. Cloverleaf is still giving them insights about others that they didn't exactly know or they couldn't put their finger on."

SVP, Global Business Services

For a 100% remote workforce, Cloverleaf became something rarer than a tool. It became an accelerator, a way to compress the time it takes to build the kind of understanding that usually only comes from years of working side by side.
