For effective distributed team management, a distributed Scrum team will need clear, well-defined remote work contracts, an agreement on communication and collaboration tools that suit the entire team, and an established structure for video meetings. Self-organization and self-reliance are two necessary team management attributes in a distributed Scrum team.
